Sajan Kumar Somarajan, as an Ayurvedic specialist, is the founder and technical director of the Ayurvedaway, the center for traditional Indian art of healing.
Sajan Kumar Somarajan comes from the state of Kerala on the south-west coast of India, which is known throughout the world as the land of Ayurveda. He has completed a 5 1/2 year study of Ayurvedic medicine at the Govt. Ayurveda College in Tripunithura, Kerala, and in 1995 was entitled "B. A. M. S. "(Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery). Since then, he has worked in various areas of Ayurveda, including teaching, pharmacology, clinical practice and hospitality.
He has been living in Germany since 2009 and now gives his consultations and lectures in German. He has worked for different Ayurveda institutions in India and in Germany and has published a few articles in Germany and in India as well.

Christine Hein is the wife of Sajan Kumar Somarajan managing the Yoga and Meditation in Ayurvedaway. She is a trained yoga teacher; has been giving yoga classes and seminars at various institutions since 1995.
In 2001, she completed training as an Ayurvedic therapist in India in Pranavam Ayurveda Centre in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh and worked few years in the practice of Sajan Kumar Somarajan in India.
From childhood on Christine had a keen interest in nature, plants and trees around and their nutritional values and healing powers. Based on the knowledge and experience she gathered through many years, Christine contributes to the integration of Ayurveda principles with the western traditional wisdom regarding European plants and bringing it in to practice through designing the nutrition part in Ayurvedaway.
Christine Hein regularly translates articles of Sajan Kumar Somarajan from English-language articles into German.
